Our Story
Based in Calgary, Canada, surrounded by the beautiful Rocky Mountains and winding Bow River, Iboga Temple is an Iboga retreat center based on the traditional Missoko Bwiti tradition. A private home located in a quiet neighbourhood, the walk-out basement of the ceremony house has been transformed into a space of stillness, cleansing and transformation. Trained directly by Moughenda, 10th Generation Shaman in Gabon, Africa, our providers are devoted stewards of the powerful traditions that healed them.

Meet Our Team
Moughenda
10th Generation Shaman Mentor
One of the most powerful healers on the planet, Moughenda is a 10th generation Missoko Bwiti Shaman. He began training under as child under his Grandfather, the village Shaman. After decades of initiations, training, and apprenticeship, he became the Lead Shaman in his village.
With guidance from Iboga, Moughenda travelled the globe, sharing the healing power of Iboga and Bwiti with the world. He's the first Bwiti Shaman to do so.

Now back in Gabon, Moughenda leads initiations, detoxifications, and physical, mental, and spiritual healing for both locals and foreigners.
He also conducts immersive training for a small number of students looking to become Iboga providers.
